The end of the Galaxy note 7 will be a terrible problem for the world’d largest manufacturer of smartphones.
In the last few monthes, there were so many battery problems about the Galaxy Note 7, they were overheating, smoking and even bursting into flames. Last week, Samsung asked Note 7 customers not to turn on the phone and it would recall 2.5 million phones to fix the problem. But this didn’t go well.
So last week, Samsung decide to stop production. Before Samsung made this decidion, its share fell more than 8 percent, knocking $17 billion off the company’s market value.
